Wedding in White Sulphur Springs WV
This was such a special day for so many reasons. We had been running around all day filming and taking photos at The Strawberry Festival in Alderson WV. Our friends Trey and Diana had booked us for their wedding almost a year prior for that same day. So we had a long day ahead of us.
Once we arrived to the wedding venue which was Trey’s family property, Beaver Dam Falls, Sheena mentioned that their other friend was going to be there to take photos as well.
So I thought, “3 photographers in 1 wedding?” Well I had all my film gear with me already from the festival (half charged with no extra batteries) and there are 2 photographers. Sheena alone can handle any wedding without question so I got a wild hair, looked her as we pulled in and said, “Screw it, I’ll do video” laughing she said “Ok if you’d rather do that instead of photos that sounds good to me”
Mind you they had only booked us for photo only but I figured hey why not? And besides it would be way more fun since I prefer video and on the plus side, they are friends. It was the best decision I could have made because not only was it a beautiful venue but it was overall one of the most emotional weddings I've ever had the pleasure of filming and it turned out to be a huge surprise wedding gift for them. I could not have been happier with how it turned out. The reception was at Big Draft Brewing in White Sulphur Springs
